Petawawa River - Lake Travers to Lake McManus (June 17 - 20, 2005)
The Petawawa River was a new adventure for us. This interior canoe trip was planned as a 4 day excursion on the lower portion of the Petawawa River through Algonquin Provincial Park from Lake Travers down to Lake McManus. Since it was a one-way river trip the logistics were more complicated than a loop would have been. Algonquin Spring Fishing 2005

Frontenac Provincial Park
(July 27 - 29, 2004)
This was a 3 day, 2 night trip with the whole family. Two adults, 3 kids and the dog. We put in on Big Salmon Lake and then camped on Little Salmon and Little Clear Lake before paddling back out through Big Salmon Lake. (more ...) |
