What Worked Well

  1. Taking a Tarp - It was good to have a bit of shelter to get out of the rain. This was especially true, since our 3 year old who loves wearing his rain coat also decided that this was a good time not to wear his rain coat. After all, when it is pouring rain and you're shivering, why would you want to wear a rain coat?
  2. The Chili! Everything was home dried, it rehydrated wonderfully and tasted great.
  3. (I'll think of something else eventually.)
